McDonald's Getting Bigger In Poland

Fast-food chain McDonald's could spend as much as 100 million zlotys in Poland in 2010 as the firm will open no fewer than 17 locations this year to maintain the pace from last year, general director Piotr Jucha said.

McDonald's, which has 239 restaurants already open in Poland, has an average cost of 5 million zlotys for each opening.

Revenues in 2009 rose 8.8% to 961 million zlotys and the growth rate could yet increase for 2009, depending on a number of unnamed factors.
